Write the title exactly as you want it printed, then explain the story behind it. You could use an original trophy illustration with the objects that belong to the joke. Say separately whether the society name, year or winner’s name should appear.

A shared design for awards night Use the society name, the year and one story members will recognise. It could be the event that took all term to organise or the phrase that kept appearing in the minutes. Decide whether the academic year or calendar year is the one you want printed.
The outgoing committee’s part in it A thank-you design could refer to bookings, spreadsheets or all the things people didn’t see happening. Tell us whether you want one committee design or individual roles. A list of names alone won’t explain which version each person should receive.

FAQ

Before the committee orders

Can we order before the society awards winners are announced?

You can make category-only designs without winner names if the award titles are agreed. If names are essential, wait until they’re confirmed and allow for production and delivery. A shirt given afterwards is another option when voting ends close to the event.

Can every award have a different title and winner?

Create and review each version separately, with the exact title and any winner name you want printed. The Maker doesn’t automatically turn a nominations or winners list into a set of shirts. Keep your own record of each approved design and recipient size.

Can members order and pay through a shared society portal?

There isn’t a society portal for collecting members’ sizes and payments. Agree the designs and collect the sizes before placing the order. Arrange contributions with members separately.

How much are the shirts?

For one shirt, Base is £24.99 GBP per shirt in 100% cotton. Premium is £32.99 GBP in 100% organic ring-spun cotton. Both are currently white, in adult S–2XL (XS in Premium). Check the size guide and order total before paying. See the shirt prices above for the current group rates.
