Use the event name your course mates will recognise. Give the cohort label exactly as you want it printed, then explain the reference behind the illustration. Keep the printed words separate from the explanation so a whole paragraph of context doesn’t end up on the shirt.

A generic stethoscope might say medicine, but it won’t say much about your year. Use the lecture notes you’re all behind on, the phrase that keeps coming up in the course chat or the name you’ve given the crawl. Explain why it belongs in the design.

The cohort people actually recognise Second year, your intake year or the medical society’s event name can mean different things. Pick the label you use together and write it out. Only add the medical school’s name if you want it printed; don’t assume the design needs a university crest.
The course reference behind the picture Maybe everyone has the same mountain of lecture notes or keeps saying they’ll catch up tomorrow. Describe an original illustration around that reference and supply the exact line. Use a course joke you can explain without sharing anyone’s patient details.
A pub route, if it’s settled A short list of pub names can make it specific to this night. Agree the venues and order before putting them in the artwork. If the route is still changing, keep it in the event chat and use the crawl name on the shirt instead.

Before you collect the shirt orders

Can we put our medical school’s crest on the shirt?

Don’t assume the event is official university merchandise or that you can use its crest. Check permission with the relevant owner before supplying protected artwork. You can instead describe an original illustration around your course reference and add the event wording you’ve agreed.

Can the design include all the pubs on our route?

You can supply pub names as part of the wording. Give the correct spelling and agreed order, then check every name in the preview. If the route isn’t final, leaving it off avoids ordering shirts for a plan that changes.

Can everyone in the year have their own name on it?

Different names in the artwork need separately created and checked versions. The Maker doesn’t automatically turn a year-group list into individual shirts, and separate back printing isn’t offered. A shared front design with the cohort and event name is another option.

How much are the shirts?

For one shirt, Base is £24.99 GBP in 100% cotton. Premium is £32.99 GBP in 100% organic ring-spun cotton. Both are currently white, in adult S–2XL (XS in Premium).
