What’s the joke from your crew?

Give the crew or club name, year and the story behind the line. If you want a boat in the picture, say what sort: a single, pair, four or eight, and whether there’s a cox. Describe the blade colours if they matter to the design.

Crossed oars are one option, but they don’t tell the whole story. You could use the boat you row, the tea everyone waits for or the call that became a running joke. Explain which detail matters. A smaller drawing with the right crew reference can be better than a complicated boat scene.

The right boat Say whether you row sweep or scull if you want the equipment shown. Check the number of people and blades rather than assuming a generic rowing picture will be accurate.
The line from training Write the actual call or joke and explain why your crew uses it. It might work as one short line without a long list of names or times.
