Before you go or after you get back? A planned route can change. Decide whether you want to print those planned stops or keep it to your name and travel year. For a shirt after the trip, tell us the actual places rather than copying the old itinerary.
Your trip or the people you met? Going alone, travelling as a pair or meeting different friends along the way? Say whose names belong in this design. You can make it about one part of the journey without including everyone from every hostel.
A route map or one small detail? For a route illustration, supply the stops in order and check the preview carefully. For a simpler design, describe the backpack, train ticket or beach detail you mean. Ask us first if an exact map, flag or existing logo is essential.

Decide who wants the same design If your travel mates want the same print, agree that design together. Different names or different routes need separately reviewed versions; a list of travellers isn’t automatically turned into individual shirts.

Choosing your gap year shirt

Can I make a gap year shirt before I know the whole route?

Yes. Start with the place you’re heading to first, your name or the travel year. You can ask for an original picture rather than a full route map. If you do print planned stops, remember they stay on the shirt even if your itinerary changes after ordering.

Can the design show several countries or both travel years?

You can request several places and a date range, such as 2026–27. Give the wording and stops exactly. Check their spelling, order and any route connections in the preview. Ask us first if you need a geographically exact map or exact existing artwork; a generated illustration doesn’t guarantee either.

Is this suitable for wearing while backpacking?

It’s a casual white cotton T-shirt with your own design, in adult S–2XL (XS in Premium). Base is 100% cotton and Premium is 100% organic ring-spun cotton. Neither is sold as a technical quick-drying travel shirt. Check the size guide and care instructions before choosing what to pack.
