Which film or group is it for?

Give your group name or own film title exactly, including punctuation. Add the festival city and year if you want them on the shirt. Explain the scene or filmmaking joke behind the idea. You can ask for an original clapperboard, cinema seat or picture from your description.

Check the title as carefully as the credits.

Read the film title, names, year and any crew roles in the preview. Make sure a picture or extra wording hasn’t changed what the shirt says about your film. Ask for a simpler design if the title gets lost among the illustrations.

Going to watch or taking your own film?

If you’re visiting together, use the cinema group, a shared festival line or the city and year. If your own film is screening, the title and a detail from making it can lead the design. Tell us which of those you mean so the first version has the right starting point.

The film title needs to stay yours Send the final title exactly as you want it printed. If a working title or date might change, decide whether to leave it out for now. The shirt won’t update when you change your poster or credits after ordering.
One image from the film or the making of it Describe an original picture based on your own scene, prop or production joke. It can be a bus, a cinema seat or a clapperboard with your words. Ask us first if you need an existing poster, still or production logo reproduced exactly.
A festival visit isn’t an award A city and year can mark your trip without implying a prize or official selection. If you want to include a selection or award, confirm the wording and artwork first. Don’t approve a design that invents winner text or festival laurels.

Shared title or individual crew roles? Everyone can use the same film-title design. Different cast names or crew roles need separately created and reviewed versions; the Maker doesn’t automatically turn a credits list into individual shirts. These shirts are front printed; back printing and embroidery aren’t available.

Ordering shirts for a film festival

Can I make shirts for my own short film’s screening?

Yes. Give the film title exactly and describe the original picture or production joke you want. Add a screening city or year if it belongs in the design. Check the preview with someone from the film before ordering, especially the title, credits and any selection or award wording.

What if we’re just going to watch films together?

Use your cinema group name, a line from the group or the city and year of your visit. You can describe an original cinema-seat or clapperboard illustration. You don’t need a film production or crew role to make a shirt for the trip.

Can you use our film poster or official festival laurels?

Ask us first if you need an existing poster, film still, logo or laurel reproduced exactly. An original illustration from your description is a different request. Check that any selection or award claim is correct before approving it. These shirts aren’t official festival merchandise and don’t include accreditation or entry.

How much are the shirts?

For one shirt, Base is £24.99 GBP in 100% cotton. Premium is £32.99 GBP in 100% organic ring-spun cotton. Both are currently white, in adult S–2XL (XS in Premium).
