Your idea

Tell us whose birthday you’re going out for.

Add their name, the age if they want it on the shirt and the words you’ve got in mind. Explain the joke and describe a picture they’d like. The crawl date can be different from their actual birthday.

Example input An idea you could try: Alex’s 30th, Bristol 2026. Write Still choosing the same pub. Draw an original pub doorway with a little birthday cake on a table inside and one candle shaped like 30. Blue and orange print on a white shirt. No pub list.

The design

Check the number before the surprise.

Read their name and age in the preview, including any numbers in the picture. Check the joke with someone who knows them. You can change it before ordering if it’s not something they’d want to wear out.

YOUR IDEA

A birthday shirt they’d pick for themselves.

You might know exactly which story to use, or just that they’d hate a huge number across the shirt. Tell us that. The crawl can be about their favourite pub, a long-running joke or the friends taking them out, without making their age the whole design.

Their name, and the age if they want it Check the nickname and the age they’re turning. If they’d rather leave the number off, use the name, year or town. Don’t work out a birth year from an age without checking it first.
The joke that belongs to them Explain the story behind the line and say which words should be printed. It could be the place they always choose or a comment they make every time the group goes out. Ask for an original picture that fits it.
Birthday shirt or matching group? Decide whether it’s a gift for one person or shirts for the friends coming too. The group can share a design; different nicknames need separate versions. Don’t put everyone’s age on it just because you’ve mentioned a birthday.

Why Levyo

Keep the surprise, but get the details right.

Have one friend check the design if you don’t want the birthday person to see it yet. Confirm the spelling, the number and that the joke will land. Ask for their shirt size discreetly rather than guessing from what someone else wears.

You can leave the age out Tell Levyo if you want the picture and nickname to be the focus. Review any extra wording in the design and remove what you didn’t ask for. The example message is a possible idea, not proof of how the pictured shirt was generated.
Check each birthday name separately Create and review each version if the birthday person has a different line from the group. A guest list won’t automatically generate named shirts. Back printing, sleeve printing and embroidery aren’t offered as choices in this Maker.

FAQ

Getting the birthday shirts right

Can we make a birthday crawl shirt without their age on it?

Yes. Ask for their nickname, a pub reference or your own joke instead, and say to leave the age out. Read the preview before ordering to make sure no unwanted number or birthday wording has been added.

Can the birthday person have a different design from the friends?

Yes, by creating and checking each version separately. Give the birthday person’s design its own wording and review the group design too. The Maker doesn’t automatically produce individual named shirts from a guest list.

What if the crawl is a surprise birthday gift?

Have a friend check the nickname, age and joke in the preview. Confirm the recipient’s size using the size guide rather than guessing. Plan delivery for the crawl night, which may be earlier than the actual birthday; contact us before ordering for a close deadline.

How much are the shirts?

For one shirt, Base is £24.99 GBP and Premium is £32.99 GBP, including standard UK delivery. Open ‘Shirt prices’ above for the current prices at your group size.
